JAKE LUTON
Jake has five years of NFL experience, spending time with six different organizations. Before his pro career, he started for 3 seasons at Oregon State, where he earned All-Pac-12 honors and set multiple school passing records.
Now based in Arizona, Jake brings the same detail, preparation, and discipline to the next generation of quarterbacks that led him to the highest level. Having worked with and learned from some of the greatest QBs and coaches in the game, Jake knows what it takes to perform at an elite level — and how to translate that knowledge to QB's of all ages.
At JLQB Academy, his mission is simple: help quarterbacks develop their mechanics, football IQ, and leadership skills while building the confidence needed to excel on and off the field.

Why is Private Training "Worth It”?

"Practice Doesn't Make Perfect, Perfect Practice Does"
They say it takes 10,000 reps to break a bad habit. To go a step further, you have to know how to practice the good habit before you can work to break the bad one. Even if a you have a great position coach on your team that helps identify mechanical flaws, there simply isn't enough time for players to improve to an elite level if their reps only come during practice. Private training allows you to hone in on the fundamentals of becoming a great quarterback.

Exposure to the Game
I have been lucky enough to share QB rooms with players like Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson, Trevor Lawrence, Bryce Young, Geno Smith, Tua Tagovaialoa, Jameis Winston, Mike Glennon, Gardner Minshew, Jacoby Brissett, and many more. I have played for coaches like Pete Carroll, Jay Gruden, Doug Pedersen, Ben McAdoo, Frank Reich, Jim Caldwell, Norv Turner, and many, many more. Point is, I have been fortunate to learn from the greatest, and I want to share it with you here in the East Valley.
